Idea 4G LTE now available in 101 towns of Punjab


Idea today announced the expansion of its hi-speed 4G LTE service to 84 more towns of the Punjab circle, taking the total tally to 101. Covering all major towns across all 22 districts, the company has increased its presence exponentially within a short span of time.



In 22 out these 101 towns, Idea has also become the sole operator to provide 4G LTE services.
 Idea’s world class 4G LTE service is available in the major towns of Jalandhar, Patiala, Bathinda, Muktsar, Barnala, Rajpura and Gurdaspur, in addition to the other major towns of Chandigarh, Firozepur, Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala, Moga and Pathankot that were launched earlier; built on a strong foundation of a total 1,350 4G sites in the region. Network expansion will continue as more and more users join the Idea 4G LTE family.

Speaking on the expansion of the 4G LTE service, Mr. Sudhir Pradhan, COO-Punjab, J&K and Himachal Pradesh, Idea Cellular said, “Since January this year, until today, we have been aggressively focusing on reaching out to the maximum population and have re-structured our focus on the service delivery. With better internet experience at affordable tariff plans and unequivocal commitment to customer delight, we aim to provide the best-in-class experience to our subscribers’.
