Samsung Launches 49-inch Curved Monitor in India

Samsung has launched the world’s biggest curved monitor in India. The 49-inch ultra-wide curved gaming monitor (LC49HG90) has a 32:9 aspect ratio and 3,840×1,080 double full HD (DFHD) resolution.

It delivers 1,800R curvature, an ultra-wide 178-degree viewing angle and accelerated refresh rate (144Hz) and 1ms motion picture response time (MPRT) with advanced, four-channel scanning technology to deter motion blur and produce a more consistent picture across the entire screen.
It also has High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology for realistic, detailed picture and the quantum dot technology offers the best light efficiency, stability, and a wider colour spectrum.

It uses Eye Saver Mode and Flicker-Free Technology which enhances eye comfort. The Monitor’s Eye Saver Mode obstructs Blue light wavelengths that stimulate the retina more than what any other color does, thereby reducing eye-fatigue.

“Samsung has always been at the forefront of consumer-centric innovations and the launch of QLED Curved monitor is in line with that very commitment. A perfect companion for serious business professionals and gaming enthusiasts, the monitor is not only the biggest in the category, but also a trend setter in terms of specifications and technology,” Mr. Puneet Sethi, Vice President, Consumer Electronics Enterprise Business, Samsung India, said.

Samsung 49-inch ultra-wide curved gaming monitor is priced at Rs. 1,50,000, is available from Samsung Shop online and will be available at all leading retail outlets soon.
