Apple Card

Apple Card, a new kind of credit card that is built into the Apple Wallet app on the iPhone as well as a physical credit card. The company says the Apple Card will offer a similar experience to the customer just like Apple Pay.

Those who wish to use Apple Card can sign up in the Wallet app on their iPhone and can be used in stores, in apps or online worldwide. Once you sign up the card, a unique card number is created on iPhone for Apple Card and stored safely in the device’s Secure Element, a special security chip used by Apple Pay.

Lesser interest, more privacy

Unlike credit cards, the Apple Card will transform the experience by simplifying the application process, eliminating fees, encouraging customers to pay less interest and providing a new level of privacy and security.

Daily Cash program

Apple Card also offers a clearer and more compelling rewards program than other credit cards with Daily Cash, which gives back a percentage of every purchase as cash on customers’ Apple Cash card each day. Having said that, it is now available exclusively for the US this summer.

Weekly and monthly spending summaries.

Moreover, it uses machine learning and Apple Maps to clearly label transactions with merchant names and locations. In an attempt to help customers better understand their spending, Apple Card provides weekly and monthly spending summaries.

Customers will receive a percentage of every Apple Card purchase amount back as Daily Cash. Furthermore, every time customers use Apple Card with Apple Pay, they will receive 2 percent Daily Cash. Customers will also get 3 percent Daily Cash on all purchases made directly with Apple, including at Apple Stores, on the App Store and for Apple services.

On the other hand, there are no fees associated with Apple Card like no annual, late, international or over-the-limit fees. It also shows a range of payment options and calculates the interest cost on different payment amounts in real time.

Collaboration with Goldman Sachs and Mastercard

To give users a better experience, Apple is partnering with Goldman Sachs and Mastercard to provide the support of an issuing bank and global payments network. Apple has also designed a titanium Apple Card for shopping at locations where Apple Pay is not accepted yet. With no card number, CVV security code, expiration date or signature on the card, Apple says that Apple Card is more secure than any other physical credit card.

Apple Card will be available to qualified customers in the US in summer

Apple iPhone XI with Triple rear camera First Look

Apple launched iPhone XR, iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max in 2018 Now 2019 Apple iPhone XL render has been leaked which shows Triple Rear Camera.

Apple iPhone XI with Triple rear camera First Look

The leaked renders reveal a square camera unit housing three cameras  The render reveals there will be a third camera placed between the two, on the side, an LED flash and a microphone on the bottom, which looks similar to Huawei Mate 20 Pro

According to OnLeaks  2019 iPhones are still in Engineering Validation Test (EVT) stage, and there could be changes in the details when the phones will eventually launch in September 2019. Apple plans to launch three iPhones in September 2019 -- One low-end variant, possibly the successor to the iPhone XR and two high-end variants, succeeding the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max.

Apple will adopt long-distance 3D ToF technology on the 2019 iPhones. With a non-aligned camera module on the back, Apple could adopt the technology for the rear camera, similar to the Oppo R17 Pro. ToF or Time of Flight technology relies on how much time light takes to bounce off an object to create a 3D map.

“Cameras revolutionized phones, and based on what I’ve seen, I have the same expectation for 3D [cameras],” Satoshi Yoshihara, Head of Sony’s sensor division told Bloomberg. Sony plans to ramp up the production of the rear and front-facing 3D ToF sensors to meet the iPhone demand. The production is expected to kick-start late summer.

The third camera can be used to focus faster on the object, and to create 3D models. It can track objects even in dark almost instantaneously by throwing laser pulses at the object and measuring the time taken by the laser to bounce back to the sensor. The sensors can have an even bigger impact in AR and VR. Sony claims the ToF sensor can be used to map rooms in real-time. In a demonstration, the report claimed Sony showed the camera can be used to track user’s hands in a game, like casting a spell.

2019 Apple iPhone will be launched in September
