Coolpad has launched Cool 3 Plus smartphone which takes on Redmi 7A, Realme C2 in India. It comes with Dewdrop Notch Display, gradient finish at a starting price of Rs 5999. Is it worth buying let's find out in our review

Coolpad Cool 3 Plus Review

Coolpad Cool 3 Plus comes in Cherry Black and Ocean Blue color options we have Ocean Blue color
On Design it has a  5.71-inch dewdrop notch display, earpiece, front-facing camera, On-Screen button, It has bezel on all side which is acceptable at this price. The power button and volume rockers on the right, SIM card slot hybrid SIM support on left, 3.5mm audio jack on top, MicroUSB port, speaker grill on the bottom.









On Rear, it comes with plastic build with gradient finish which looks like a glossy finish. It has a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, Fingerprint Scanner and Coolpad branding. The back panel has curved edges which give good grip in hand. The phone measures 145.7*70.9*8.2mm and weight 135g Phone can easily be used in a single hand. The overall build quality of the phone is good.

Coolpad Cool 3 Plus is backed by a 5.71-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels. It does not come with display protection, comes with an auto-brightness sensor, night light mode which works well. The display produces good colors and viewing angle in indoor conditions in bright sunlight viewability is decent you need to enable full brightness.

Coolpad Cool 3 Plus is powered by Quad-core MediaTek Helio Helio A22 12nm processor with IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU. It comes with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. which is further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. Out of 32GB around 21GB is available for the user. Temple run, Subway surfers games work well without any issue while playing PUBG it lags in between, Normal use performance is good. On AnTuTu phone scores around 66,200 points. Overall performance is decent when compared to Realme C2 & Redmi 7A which comes with Octa-Core processor.

On-Camera, it has a 13-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and 8-megapixel front-facing camera. both front and Rear camera can record 1080p videos. Camera App Mode includes Beauty
 Face, Portrait. GIF, Time Lapse, Watermark, Beauty Video, Age/ Selfie Timer/ Emoji, GridView. Both front and Rear Camera captures good images under good lighting, Low light camera is average same with Portrait camera. Video recording is decent.


It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with 360 OS user interface. It does not come with App drawer, There is support for  App lock, Clone Apps, Themes, Game Booster, Health guard and more. App switching takes a few seconds, Overall user interface is good.  It also features a fingerprint sensor at the rear panel and Face unlock. Fingerprint Scanner works fast can be used to capture photos, Unlock Apps. Face unlock works well under good lighting does not work in low light.


Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, GLONASS, OTG support. It has support for Dual 4G VoLTE, Video calling. Call quality is good, Audio output from the speaker is loud and clear. Coolpad Cool 3 Plus is backed by a 3000mAh battery which comes with 5V 1A charger which takes more than 2 Hour 30min to charge fully there is support for 2A charger which takes 30min less time compared to Box Charger. Battery backup is decent in our test we got close to 6 hours of battery life with Normal use 10-12 hours of battery life.

 Coolpad Cool 3 Plus is priced at Rs 5,999 for the 2GB RAM + 16GB internal storage, Rs 6499 for 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. It offers good design, Dewdrop notch display, fingerprint scanner decent performance. Redmi 7A & Realme C2 offers a better processor, Cameras

ASUS TUF Gaming FX505D : Ryzen 7 3750H, GTX 1650

Asus has launched affordable TUF series gaming laptops in India. Asus TUF FX505 Gaming laptop is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen processor



On Design its all plastic build. On Top panel there us Asus Logo with X Design. It is certified to military-grade MIL-STD-810G standards. It has a 15.6-inch FHD Display with Minimum Bezels, webcam in the center of the top bezel. It has a full-sized keyboard with RGB lighting, Speaker grill there is support for DTS X headphone. On the left, it has a Charging port, Gigabit LAN, HDMI, USB-A 2.0,2x USB-A 3.1 and 3.5mm audio port. There is Nothing on the right side. There is Hyper cool technology support. Overall Build quality is good the laptop weight's 2.2kg

Asus TUF Gaming FX505 features a 15.6-inch IPS Nanoedge screen with a Full HD resolution, 120Hz refresh rate. The display has less bezels and looks good. It produces good colors and Viewing angle Asus FX505 is powered by AMD 7 3750H Processor with 8GB DDR4 RAM 2,400MHz but can be upgraded to 32GB. It comes with 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics for storage it has a  1TB hard drive with 256GB SSD. In terms of daily use, laptop handles most of the apps like  Chrome, PowerPoint, Lightroom, Fillmore without any lag, Switching between application was also lag free. GeForce GTX 1650 graphics performance is good most of the games works fine. The laptop gets warm while playing games for more than an hour there is no major heating issue.







The keyboard has RGB color backlighting which looks good, W, A key has marked in White color. The keyboard is good for gaming not for long document typing. The trackpad could have been bigger but works fine, its better to use a mouse while playing games. Speaker output is loud and clear. The FX505D comes equipped with a 48Whr 3-cell Li-ion battery which takes 2 Hours to charge fully While Playing Games we got around 2 Hours of Battery life whereas On Normal usage we got around 5 Hours of Battery life.

Asus TUF Gaming FX505 AMD Ryzen 7 3750H variant is available in India for Rs 72,000. It offers good design, Display, performance and Decent battery

Redmi Note 7 Pro Review

Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro in India. Redmi Note Series has been popular in India. Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with 48MP Rear Camera, Snapdragon 675 Processor priced at Rs 13,999. Redmi Note 7 Pro worth Buying over Realme 3 Pro and Galaxy M30 lets find out in our review



In Design Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with Glass build compared to Metal build on previous Redmi Note series phones. On the front, it has a 6.3-inch (2340 ×1080 pixels) Full HD+ Dot Notch Display, Sensors, earpiece, front-facing camera, On bottom Chin there is Notification LED. volume and power buttons on the right side.  USB Type-C port along with speaker grill on Bottom. hybrid SIM Slot on left.

On top, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack and IR sensor. On The Rear, there is Dual Rear Camera with LED Flash, Fingerprint Scanner and Redmi branding on the bottom. The phone measure 159.21 x 75.21 x 8.1mm and Weight: 186g. Build quality is good, It's difficult to use the phone in a single hand. It comes with a P2i hydrophobic nano-coating, which is claimed to protect the smartphones against accidental liquid spills and light rain

On Display, Redmi Note 7 Pro has a 6.3-inch (2340 ×1080 pixels) Full HD+ LTPS display, 450 nits brightness, 84% NTSC Color Gamut which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display produces good color, viewing angle, display Quality is good in bright sunlight. Auto brightness sensor works fine. The display comes with features such as Reading mode, Contrast and color selection, and text size options. Overall Display quality is good, Realme 3 pro has much brighter Display compared to Note 7 Pro whereas Galaxy M30 has AMOLED display.



Redmi Note 7 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 Processor with Adreno 615 GPU. it has a 4GB LPDDR4x RAM, 64GB Storage there is also 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB Storage. out of 64GB around 54GB is available for the user. It has support for MicroSD card up to 256GB It does not come with Dedicated MicroSD card slot. The performance of the device is fast there was no lag while using the phone on daily basis tasks while playing high-end games for long time device we notice minor frame drops and heating issue. Gaming performance good you cant play PUBG at a Higher setting. Glass body gets warm while playing PUBG or asphalt 9  for more than 30 min. Performance is good phone gets warm no major heating issue. On AnTuTu benchmark phone scores 175287.


Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor f/1.79 aperture 1.6μm pixel size, secondary 5-megapixel depth sensor with LED Flash and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with Screen Flash. Camera App features include  AI Portrait mode, AI Studio Lighting, slo-mo video recording, Night mode, 48MP Mode, Panorama, Pro Mode. The Rear Camera can record 4K Video recording. There is support for EIS at FHD 60fps, Slo-mo video support at 120fps, Front Camera can record 1080p videos. There is support for Camera 2 API out of Box. At Stock Redmi Note 7 Pro captures at 12MP there is 48MP Camera mode in App. It produces good images under daylight and indoor lighting conditions, Portrait mode works well, Low light photos also good there is also support for Night mode. front Camera captures good selfies and Portrait mode is good. Video recording at 4K is shaky while at 1080p video recording is decent there is focusing issue, Camera App shut down automatically while video recording for a long time. Sometimes Opening Camera App takes Time, Overall Redmi Note 7 Pro Camera is better than Realme 3 Pro and Galaxy M30.










Redmi Note 7 Pro runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10.3.7. It comes preloaded with bloatware apps which can be uninstalled. MIUI comes with full-screen gestures, split screen, lock, Dual Apps, Second Space, Mi Play, Mi remote support.MIUI India ROM comes with Ads which can be disabled by going to MIUI Security app stop Receive recommendations. The user interface is smooth but full-screen ads can be an issue.

Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with face unlock. The Face unlock works well in Good lighting conditions does not work under low light most of the time, There is also a fingerprint scanner on the rear which is fast and responsive can be used to unlock the device, capture photos, App Lock. Connectivity Options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 /5GHz) Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C Audio Quality from speaker and earphone is loud and clear,  Call quality was good with loud and clear sound. Redmi Note 7  Pro comes with Hybrid SIM slot

It is packed with a 4000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm quick charge 4.0. Box Charger is 5V 2A which takes around 2 Hour 15Min to charger fully from 0-100%. Xiaomi sells Quick charger 3.0 in India Rs 449 with the fast charger it takes 10-15 Min less time compared to Box charger. Redmi Note 7 Pro offers good battery life in our test we got around 9 Hours of Battery life. Normal use phone can deliver 1 day of battery life with Dual SIM, Data, WiFi, Calls, playing Games with 7-8  Hours of Screen On Time.

Redmi Note 7 Pro priced at Rs 13,999 for 4GB RAM and Rs 16,999 for 6GB RAM. It offers good performance, Camera, Battery Life, Lacks fast charger in Box, Ads in MIUI, Hybrid SIM Slot whereas Realme 3 Pro offers fast charger in Box, Similar performance, Galaxy M30 has AMOLED Display.

On the front, it has a 6.2-inch HD+ Waterdrop Notch Display, Front facing camera, earpiece, On Screen buttons. On Display Infinix S4 comes with a 6.21-inch (1520 × 720 pixels) HD+ 19.5:9 2.5D curved glass display with 500 nits brightness, 1300:1 contrast ratio. It produces good colors and Viewing Angles in bright sunlight or outdoor conditions you have keep brightness full, Auto brightness works fine.



Infinix S4 is powered by Helio P22 Processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage out of which around 21GB is available to the user which is further expandable up to 128GB with MicroSD Card. The phone scores 74856 points on AnTuTu. In terms of Normal use, performance is good while playing high-end games like PUBG, Asphalt 9 phone gets warm there is lag sometimes overall Gaming performance is good. The performance in terms of daily use is good not for high-end gaming.



On Camera, it has a 13-megapixel, 8-megapixel secondary 120-degree ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel camera to capture depth information in portrait shots with Quad LED Flash and 32MP front-facing camera. Both cameras can record 1080p videos, Bokeh, AI, AR Shots Mode. Camera performance is good in daylight, wide-angle photos look good, portrait mode needs an update, In Low light, normal pictures are good wide angle camera samples does not look good. the front camera captures good selfies in daylight and Low light for bokeh mode edge detection is not good which needs improvement.





Infinix S4 runs on Cheetah XOS 5.0  based on Android Pie. It comes with many pre-loaded apps which can be uninstalled. There is support for gestures Navigation. Themes,  Smart Panel, Action & Gesture. Users interface is decent it lags sometimes in between.  



Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth , GPS + GLONASS, Micro-USB port.Audio output is loud and clear. It is backed by a 4000mAh Battery which comes with 2A charger micro USB port and takes more than 2 Hours to charge fully. Infinix S4 Battery can deliver One day of battery life with heavy use.

Infinix S4 comes in Nebula Blue, Twilight Purple and Space Gray colors priced at Rs. 8999. It offers good design, Camera, battery life decent performance. Realme 3, Redmi Y3, Redmi Note7 are other options available at this price point.

Infinix Xband 3 Review : Colourful display, IP67 certified

Infinix has launched Infinix Xband 3 smart fitness band in India priced at Rs 1,599 which takes on Mi Band 3 and Honor Band 4.

On Design it looks similar to any other smart band available in the market. It has a small touch button when touched shows different features, There is a heart rate sensor and charging pin below it

Infinix Xband 3 comes with a colorful display which shows Battery percentage,  Date, time, steps, measure heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen, camera, music player. The home page on band shows Time, date, week, battery, Bluetooth. Long press show mac address. Than Steps count long press show Calorie consumption.





 Heart rate you have to long press to start measuring heart rate. it takes around 10 seconds to display heart rate results. Same with blood pressure and blood oxygen. For weather, phone weather app needs to be connected with the band.  To use camera open app long press on the band to capture photos. The band should be connected with the app when phone play music you can pause/ stop/ play through the band. With Infinix life App. Users can monitor outdoor running, step counting, sleep data, heart rate, bp, blood oxygen,  Set alarm, can get Phone, WhatsApp notification directly on the band, remote music controls and more.


The fitness band is IP67 certified, making it water and dust resistant. Infinix Xband 3 can give around 20 days of battery life. Steps count on Infinix Xband 3 are not up to mark sometimes steps count gets increased automatically, Sleep data, heart rate sensor, Camera Shutter, alarm, notifications work well.
Infinix Xband 3 is value for money fitness brand which offers good features at just Rs 1599. It is available on Flipkart.

Realme C2 is powered by Helio P22 Processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB Storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB Storage which is further expandable with MicroSD card. out of 16GB around 8GB storage and around 900MB RAM available. We have 2GB RAM performance is decent while playing PUBG or asphalt 9 there is a lag in between. Overall performance is good, RAM management is average.

On Camera, it has a 13+2MP Dual Rear Camera and 5MP front-facing camera. both front and Rear Camera can record 1080p videos, Chromaboost, Slow-Mo mode. Rear Camera captures good images in daylight, Low light, and the front camera is average.

Dedicated MicroSD

It comes with Dedicated MicroSD slot up to 256GB. It has also support for Dual 4G VoLTE



Battery Life

Realme C2 is packed by a 4000mAh Battery which can deliver more than one day of battery life. In our test, we got around 10 hours of Battery life.

Realme C2 3+32GB model is priced at Rs 7999. At this price point Redmi 7, Zenfone Max M2, Infinix Smart Plus available with Fingerprint Scanner. Rs 1000 more Realme 3 is available with Helio P70, Bigger Battery.

Infinix smart 3 Plus is powered by Helio A22 quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB Storage which is further expandable with MicroSD card up to 256GB. Performance is good for normal use like social media apps, listening to music and more. While playing games like  PUBG or asphalt 9 there is lag and slow down normal games like Temple run works fine. multitasking is decent it's lag in between while switching apps. Overall performance is decent for the price point it is available.


On Camera, it has a 13-megapixel (f/1.8) + 2-megapixel for depth + a lowlight sensor on the rear, PDAF, dual LED flash, Auto Scene detection (up to 8 scenes), AR stickers, and modes such as AI Portrait, AI HDR, AI Beauty, AI Bokeh, Night, and Sports and 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone captures good images in daylight, portrait mode needs an update, Low light images are decent.

It also comes with Face Unlock support which works well in daylight, does not work in Low light. Dual 4G works fine, Call quality is good, Audio output from the speaker is decent.

Infinix Smart 3 Plus is backed by a 3500mAh Battery which comes with 5V 1.2A charger which takes more than 3 Hours to charge fully. In our test, we got around 9 Hours of battery life. It can give one day of battery life with 7-8 Hours of battery there is also Option of AI power saving and App power consumption management mode.

Infinix Smart 3 Plus priced at Rs 6999 it offers good camera, Battery life, Waterdrop Notch display, Decent performance.

Realme 3 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch FHD+ Display,90.8% Aspect Ratio which is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It produces good colors and viewing angle in both bright sunlight and indoor conditions. Auto brightness sensor works well. The display is brighter compared to other phones in this price segment.

Performance




Realme 3 Pro is powered by 2.2 GHz  Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 10 nm processor with Adreno 616. The performance is fast and smooth while playing games or during normal use. The device does not get heat up but gets warm after playing high-end games like PUBG,Fortnite for around half an hour. The phone scores 155053 points on AnTuTu benchmark.



Camera

On Camera, it has a 16MP f/1.7 Sony IMX519 Sensor + 5MP f/2.4  secondary sensor and a 25MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It comes with Nightscape mode, Chromaboost mode. It can record 4K Video with EIS, 960fps super slo-mo support. There is also a 64 MP Ultra HD mode. Both front and Rear camera produce good images in daylight and Low light, Portrait mode is decent. Video recording in daylight is good.  960fps super slo-mo is decent which does not work in low light. Overall camera performance is good.

Realme 3 Pro comes with VOOC 3.0 Charging tech with 5V/4A charger in the box which takes around 85 Min to charge the device fully from 0-100%



Battery Life

Realme 3 Pro is backed by a 4045mAh battery which is able to deliver a single day of battery life on heavy use. In our battery test, we got around 8 hours of battery backup use include gaming, camera, video playback. In our PUBG test, we got 6 Hours of battery backup. Battery drains faster when playing games compared to normal use.


Dedicated MicroSD card support

Realme 3 Pro comes with Dual Nano SIM and MicroSD card slot support. MicroSD card up to 256GB. It has support Dual 4G VoLTE.


Plastic Body

Just like any other Realme phone Realme 3 pro also comes with a plastic build. It has a Unique S-curve pattern in a gradient finish its looks good reflects under bright sunlight. back panel attracts fingerprints and scratches easily it's better to use case provided in the box. Realme should have gone with glass or metal build.

MicroUSB 

Realme 3 Pro uses VooC fast charging tech but comes with MicroUSB port instead of USB Type C

Realme 3 Pro does not come with Notifications light
