Realme 5 Pro comes with Diamond-cut design with Gradient finish which realme calls crystal design. It comes with Plastic build, which gets scratches easily. It can be used in a single hand. It has a 6.3-inch FHD+ mini-drop style display with 90.6% screen-to-body ratio which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3+, Display produces good viewing angle, Colors, Display Brightness is good even in outdoor conditions.

Performance

Realme 5 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 Processor with up to 8GB PDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. performance is good, no lag or heating issues in day to day life, There is high-performance mode while playing PUBG for long time phone does get heat up. Performance is good for the price point it is available.

It has a 48MP rear camera with 1/2.0″ Sony IMX586 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.79 aperture, LED flash, EIS, 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.25 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size with 2MP depth sensor, f/2.4 aperture, 1.75μm pixel size, 2MP for 4cm macro with f/2.4 aperture, 1.75μm pixel size and 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX471 sensor, f/2.0 aperture. It can record 4K Video, EIS at 1080p, Video recording is decent So as Slow-mo. The rear camera captures good images in daylight conditions, the wide-angle lens also does good job, for macro shots you have to keep the phone at 4cm from the object, it does not work always, Photos fron48MP main sensor is good, Wide-angle does not work under low lighting. The front camera captures good selfies in daylight and low light contions, depth mode edge detection is average.

Realme 5 Pro comes with Dedicated MicroSD card slot with support up to 256GB, It has support for Dual 4G VoLTE.

VOOC Charging

Realme 5 Pro comes with 20W VOOC 3.0 Fast charge support which takes less than 80 min to charge a battery fully charges up to 50% in 30 Min.



Decent Battery Life

Realme 5 Pro is backed by a 4035mAh battery which is able to deliver one day of battery on normal use, In our battery test we got around 8 hours of screen on time, Battery drain faster, While playing we got around 6 hours of Screen on Time.




No Notification Light

Realme 5 Pro does not come with Notifications light


Realme 5 Pro priced at Rs 13999 for 4GB RAM, Rs 14999 for 6GB RAM and Rs 16999 for 8GB RAM. 4GB RAM looks value for money option. Its better to with  Realme XT which is priced at Rs 15999  instead of going for 6/8GB RAM variant of Realme 5 Pro. Realme XT offers Glass build, AMOLED Display, In-Display Fingerprint Scanner, 64MP Camera

Asus ROG Strix SCAR III G531GW : Core i9-9880H, 32GB RAM, RTX 2070

Asus ROG has launched Asus ROG Strix SCAR III laptop in India It comes with multiple variants we have a higher-end model with  240Hz display, 32GB RAM. Let's check out more about Asus ROG Strix SCAR III (G531GW) gaming laptop

Asus ROG Strix SCAR III G531GW : Core i9-9880H, 32GB RAM, RTX 2070

There is a ROG logo on the back of the lid which glow while using. Opening the lid there is 15.6-inch Display with slim bezels. It does not come with Webcam, There is an optional clip-on camera. Below it has a speaker, Keyboard with touchpad, bezels with 240Hz Display Branding. On the left edge are three USB Type-A ports, mic/headphone 3.5mm audio jack, while on the rear edge of the Strix Scar III there’s an HDMI 2.0b port, an RJ45 Ethernet jack, a USB Type-C slot and the proprietary power port on right there is  a small illuminated port which has support for Keystone security chip which is a memory drive that allows you to transfer ROG profile and lighting settings quickly to another laptop.




It does not come with a full keyboard but trackpad can be used as Number keys. Keyboard comes with shortcut key which lets you change mode like ROG Armoury Crate key, Turbo, Balanced and Silent modes. Trackpad doubles as Numberpad u need to hold finger on top right to enable it and just touch it again to disable it, Asus calls it NumLK, This looks good but you cant use both touchpad and number at the same time. It comes with RGB backlit keyboard also RGB LED strip around the edge of its bottom case. There is an indent for the removable Keystone security chip, which also lights up when inserted. Asus ROG Strix SCAR III comes with plastic design, It has several textures and finishes. Build quality is good. The device weight 2.57 kg.


Asus ROG Strix Scar III has a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display with a refresh rate of 240Hz,81.5% screen-to-body ratio It produces good colors and Viewing angle. 240Hz refresh rate promises the smoothest gaming experience. It is powered by  9th-gen, octa-core Intel Core i9-9880H processor clocked at 2.3GHz and a turbo speed of 4.8GHz, 8GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 GPU with 32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD. In turbo, mode fan makes more noise compared to Balanced mode.  Games can be played at 1080p, Watching Movies or YouTube Video is also good. Gaming performance is good, the laptop gets warm no major heating. There is another lower model with i7 processor.  It comes with stereo speakers. Audio output is loud and clear, Audio quality from 3.5mm audio jack is also good.


RGB keyboard lighting can be customized through the Aura Sync control panel. ROG Armoury Crate also has its own smartphone app, which lets you control your laptop’s CPU, GPU, and cooling settings via your phone. You can adjust RGB lighting, change fan speed, monitor the performance of the system and more. Armory Crate also gives you access to Sonic Radar, Sonic Studio and Game First. These let you change the sound setup of the machine and do clever things like optimize for performance or get a visual representation of the sound in the game

It comes with 66WHr, 4-cell Li-ion battery with a 230W power adapter. Battery life for normal use is around 4 hours, while gaming with turbo mode, we got less than 2 hours of battery life. It takes 2 hours to charge the laptop fully.most of the users prefer to play games while charging so battery life isn't an issue.

Asus ROG Strix SCAR III G531GW price starts at 2 lakh for i7, 16GB RAM model and goes up to 2.5 lakh for a higher model with i9, 32GB RAM variant which we have. Priced at ₹1,99,990  ROG Strix SCAR III offers good design,  240 Hz display, good performance, RGB lighting, Fan Noise can be fixed lacks Webcam, More USB ports.

After launching budget phones Realme launched Realme X Smartphone in Mid-range price segment. Realme X comes with Pop up selfie camera, In-Display Fingerprint Scanner. We have been using the 4GB RAM model. Is Realme X worth buying Let's find out in our review

Realme X Review

Realme X has a 6.53-inch FullView Display, SIM Card Slot, Power button on right, USB Type C, 3.5mm audio jack, speaker on Bottom, Volume rockers on Left, Pop-up selfie camera on top which has Sapphire glass protection. On Rear it has a Dual Rear Camera, Realme branding, the back panel is slightly curved which gives a good grip. It has an S patterns design with gradient finish, Realme X build is made up of just like any other Realme available in the market. Cant use always in a single hand, The phone weighs 191g. back panel attracts fingerprints and scratches easily. The case provided in the box is a hard case which makes the phone heavier. The case also gets scratches even placed on the table. Build quality could have been better considering price range.

Realme X Review

On Display Realme X comes with a 6.53-inch (2340  × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ AMOLED display with 100% NTSC Color Gamut, 91.2% screen-to-body ratio It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, Viewing angles, Colors are good, Display bright in outdoor conditions. There is support for Always-on Display which can be turned on from Display settings.

Realme X is powered by 2.2 GHz  Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 10 nm processor with Adreno 616. It comes with 4/8GB (LPPDDR4x) RAM and 128GB internal storage. The performance is fast and smooth while playing games or during normal use. The device does not get heat up but gets warm after playing high-end games like PUBG, Fortnite for around half an hour. The phone scores 155770 points on AnTuTu benchmark. RAM management on 4GB RAM is decent it can be improved with software updates.
Realme X Review

Realme X runs on Android Pie with ColorOS 6. ColorOS 6 has support for App Lock, Themes, App Lock, Gestures, Game Space, Bike Mode It comes with Preloaded Apps like  NewsPoint, App Market, Sharechat, UC browser which can be uninstalled Some apps auto stop in between, Phone is running on June Security Patch, Realme X will be getting Android 10 Update with their Realme OS which is set to release later this year.

On-Camera, it has a  48MP rear camera with 1/2.0″ Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 6P lens, LED flash, 5MP secondary rear camera and 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX471 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, selfie cam takes only 0.74s to pop up for over 200,000 times. Rear Camera can record 4K Videos whereas 1080p on the front camera.  Camera App includes HDR, Night Scape, Pano, Expert, Time Lapse, Ultra 48MP mode, Slow-Mo. The phone captures good images in Daylight and Low light conditions, Front camera captures good selfies, There is on Screen flash for low light selfies. Portrait mode is average, edge detection needs improvement, Video recording at 4K is decent, EIS Support at 1080p. 960fps, 240fps Slow-Mo Support. 960fps Slow-Mo looks gimmick, It has support for GCAM. Realme X Review


Realme X comes with In-Display Fingerprint Scanner which works fast. It can be also used to unlock Apps. There is also support for Face Unlock, It's better to use In-Display Fingerprint Scanner instead on Face Unlock, As When Screen is on popup camera open's up n find a face to unlock. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS. It lacks Hybrid or dedicated MicroSD card slot which we have seen in other Realme phones, Support for Dolby Atmos, Audio output from the speaker is loud and clear, Call Quality is also good. It does not come with Notifications light

Realme X is packed by a  3765mAh Battery. On paper, it looks like less battery in our test we got more than 8 hours of battery with Gaming, Video playback, Camera use, with Data & wifi used. In normal use, the Realme X battery can give one day of battery life. It has support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging (5V 4A Charger) It takes less than 85 Min to charger device from 1-100%.

Realme X comes in Polar White and Space Blue. color Priced at 16,999 for 4GB RAM and Rs 19,999 for 8+128GB.4GB RAM is value for money option which offers Good Display, performance, Battery Life, Rs 3000 more just for 4GB RAM is slightly overpriced with Plastic build, No Triple Camera.

Twin stereo speakers are placed under the notebook that is powered by SonicMaster tech. On the right of the laptop, Asus has placed a USB 3.1, HDMI, Power, USB Type C, microSD and 3.5mm audio ports. On the left of the Asus Vivobook X512F, users get two USB ports along with LED indicators.

Asus Vivobook X512F comes with a  15.6 inch Full HD LED Backlit Anti-glare NanoEdge Display. It comes with ultraslim 5.7mm bezel,88% screen-to-body ratio. The Display is not reflective. It produces good colors and Viewing angles. The display has good brightness level watching videos gives a good experience, Audio quality is loud and clear.

Asus Vivobook X512F is powered by Core i7 8565 8th Gen Processor with Intel HD 620 onboard graphics. It has 8GB RAM and 512GB PCIeNVME SSD. It has support for NVIDIA Geforce MX250 Graphics. It comes preloaded with Windows 10 Home, No much pre-loaded apps available it comes with McAfee pre-installed. Performance is good, While playing games at medium settings there was no issue while playing games at a higher setting there was a heating issue. Considering its not a gaming laptop for other multimedia and office works the performance is good.

Asus VivoBook X512F comes with Fullsize keyboard with Numpad comes with backlight support. The typing experience is good, the touchpad is responsive, connectivity options include USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A, USB 2.0 Type-A, 3.5mm audio jack, micro SD card reader, HDMI 1.4, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2. It has fingerprint sensor with support for Windows Hello. The fingerprint scanner works fast. VivoBook 15 X512 laptop is backed by a 2-cell 37Wh battery. In normal usage, we got close to 5 hours of battery life. It takes less than 2 hours to charge fully

Asus Vivobook X512F offers good performance, Bezel-less display, lighter weight design. It's a good option for those who travel often or for colleges students. The model we used for Review is now available for Rs 72,990, i3 model available for Rs 35,000, i5 model for Rs 48,900 in India.

On Display Infinix Hot 7 comes with a 6.19-inch (1520 × 720 pixels) HD+ 2.5D curved glass display It produces good colors and Viewing Angles in bright sunlight or outdoor conditions you have keep brightness full, Auto brightness works fine. Infinix Hot 7 is powered by Helio P25 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage out of which around 54GB is available to the user which is further expandable with MicroSD Card. In terms of Normal use, performance is good while playing high-end games like PUBG, Asphalt 9 phone gets warm, there is also lag while playing PUBG  overall Gaming performance is decent. Overall performance is good for daily use not for gaming.

Infinix Hot 7 Review

Infinix Hot 7 runs on Cheetah XOS 5.0  based on Android Pie. It comes with many pre-loaded apps which can be uninstalled. There is support for gestures Navigation. Themes,  Smart Panel, Action & Gesture. Users interface is decent it lags sometimes in between.  RAM management is good we didn't face any issue.

Infinix Hot 7 has a  13MP rear camera with Dual LED Flash, f/1.8 aperture, 1.12µm pixel size, 2MP secondary camera and a 13MP front-facing camera with flash, f/2.0 aperture, 2MP secondary camera both phones can record 1080p videos does not support EIS. front & Rear camera has support for portrait mode. Daylight, portrait mode images are good low light is average. Video recording is decent.







Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth , GPS + GLONASS, Micro-USB port.Audio output is loud and clear. Infinix Hot 7 lacks Dual 4G Support It is backed by a 4000mAh battery which comes with a 2A charger micro USB port and takes more than 2 hours to charge fully. Infinix Hot 7 Battery can deliver One day of battery life on normal use. In our test, we got around 8 hours of battery life.

Infinix Hot 7 is priced at Rs 7999 it offers Metal body, Good camera's, Battery life, decent performance, Lacks Dual 4G Support. Other options available Redmi 7 and Realme 3i

There is also a 960fps Slow-mo mode which looks like a gimmick. There is no dedicated 48MP Camera mode yet.
