Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 goes official

Xiaomi has introduced MIX Fold 2 in China. The phone has an 8.02-inch 2 Samsung Eco² OLED 120Hz LTPO 2.0 foldable screen. The outer screen is a 6.56-inch FHD+ Samsung E5 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ both the screens and has Gorilla Glass Victus protection for the outer screen.

In order to eliminate the creases on the screen, Xiaomi has added a one-piece carbon fiber floating plate at the hinge. When the phone is opened, it lifts the flexible panel and the outer UTG glass for a flatter finish. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with 12GB of RAM and has VC vapor chamber, boron nitride and graphite sheets for a better heat dissipation. Xiaomi has launched Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet in India. It has an 11-inch 2.5K / WQXA LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10 powered by Snapdragon 860 with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of Storage.

It comes with quad speakers, has Dolby Atmos, 6.85mm sleek body. The tablet supports Xiaomi Smart Pen that comes with 4096 pressure sensitivity and 240Hz touch sampling rate and weighs just 12.2g. Xiaomi Smart Pen also includes convenient features such as Smart Pen function keys to quickly jot down notes, take screenshots or easily switch between pen and eraser. The pen magnetically charges when you place on the top of the tablet and promises 8 hours of battery backup. It also supports fast charging that will offer 20 minutes of usage with 1 minute of charge. It also supports a keyboard dock with 12mm deep travel and multitask key customization. Packed by an 8720mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, it comes with a 22.5w charger in the box.

Xiaomi 11T Pro with Snapdragon 888, 120W charging launched in India for Rs 39,999

Xiaomi has launched Xiaomi 11T Pro smartphone in India. Xiaomi 11T Pro has a 6.67-inch FHD+ TrueColour display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 480Hz touch response rate, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.

It runs on Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition custom skin out of the box and will soon get MIUI 13 update. Xiaomi promises 3 years of updates for the device, 4 years of security updates. On Camera it has a 108MP Samsung HM2 primary sensor, an 8MP 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens with a Sony IMX355 sensor,8MP telemacro sensor and 16MP  front camera. Packed by a  5,000mAh battery with 120W fast-charging support. Xiaomi claims it can charge up to 100 percent in just 17 minutes. MIUI 13 announced, list of Xiaomi devices to get update

Xiaomi has announced MIUI 13 at an event in China. MIUI 13 focuses on improving core functions, with an overall fluidity increase of 52%. It enhances its self-developed Focused Algorithms, Atomized Memory, and Liquid Storage, and the new system focuses on optimizing computing capabilities for core apps during heavy usage

MIUI 13 prevents and reduces deterioration of read-write capabilities through Atomized Memory and Liquid Storage technology by 5% over a 36-month period—prolonging the lifespan of devices. MIUI 13 brings a beta version of Mi Smart Hub, which will offer a more connected experience between smart devices. With Mi Smart Hub, users can find nearby devices and with a simple gesture to seamlessly share and access content such as music, display, even apps across multiple devices.

MIUI 13 also features notables for further personalization, offering a unique OS experience through new widgets, new dynamic wallpapers,  face verification protection (only the face is captured instead of the entire upper body), document watermarking, telecommunication fraud protection, new font MiSans.

In addition to mobile phones, the tablet version of MIUI 13 will be adapted to more apps, and multiple free windows and physical keyboard shortcut keys. It has also released MIUI Watch, MIUI Home, MIUI TV, and Xiaomi smart devices.

Xiaomi has launched Mi MIX 4 smartphone in China It has a 6.6-inch AMOLED 3D curved display with 10-bit TrueColor,  120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate. powered by Snapdragon 888+ mobile platform that has a CPU clock speed of 3GHz and increased AI capabilities of more than 20%. 

On camera, it has a 108MP main camera with 1/1.33″ Samsung HMX sensor, 4-in-1 1.6μm Super Pixels, 13MP ultra-wide angle camera equipped with an optical free-form lens to significantly lower wide-angle distortion, and 8MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom. It comes with under-display camera technology that offers a 400 ppi seamless viewing in the camera zone, matching the pixel density, brightness, and color detail of the surrounding screen. 20MP under display front camera retains true colors and details even though it is under the screen, says Xiaomi. Xiaomi has launched Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro in China. Both have an 11-inch 2.5K WQXA LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, Mi Pad 5 is powered by Snapdragon 860 whereas Mi Pad 5 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 870 processor.

Xiaomi has launched Mi 11X, Mi 11X Pro, and Mi 11 Ultra smartphones in India. Mi 11X, Mi 11X Pro features a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED screen with MEMC,  120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate, Mi 11X is powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC, Mi 11X Pro is powered by Snapdragon 888 5nm processor.

Mi MIX Fold with Snapdragon 888, 108MP camera launched

Xiaomi has launched Mi MIX Fold foldable smartphone. It has an 8.01-inch WQHD+ resolution flexible internal display with WQHD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate, 900nits peak brightness and a  6.52-inch external AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate.

Mi Mix Fold is powered by Snapdragon 888 with up to 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of Storage. On-Camera, it has a 108MP main camera, 13MP 123° ultra-wide angle camera  and is the world’s first smartphone with Liquid Lens technology in which the radius of curvature of the spherical surface can be accurately changed using high-precision motor based on Xiaomi’s self-developed technology, which allows for 3X optical zoom, up to 30X telephoto, and a minimum focus distance of 3cm. It has Xiaomi’s own Surge C1 image processing chip for improved 3A algorithm and low-light focus capabilities for more accurate autofocus, auto exposure and auto white balance, significantly improving image quality.

It comes in Standard edition with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and ceramic texture and a Ceramic Special Edition with a gold middle frame and volume buttons, as well as a black ceramic back with special laser engraving. It has a quad speakers setup with dual 1216 speakers  positioned on either side of the screen and a large 0.65mm amplitude and 1.34cc-equivalent sound cavity. The phone also has 15V Smart PA and SOUND BY Harman Kardon.
